The household has made by car two Classical tours 1968 and 1969 Harwell-Pompeii-back to Harwell village THE PILLAR HOUSE, and Harwell-Mycenae-return to “Harwell village for a Thousand Years” ... Rosy fingered dawns, Dawn in her gown of saffron yellow, and we have experienced waking on an Agean shore and greeting Dawn and hearing THE SURGE AND THUNDER OF THE ODYSSEY ...

I knew her until 1938 and she in her 90s danced like a girl, and talked of good people of the Globe who she knew in the 1840s-1850s and her marriage to TIGGY and how they began the HOMES and that nations A – Z welcomed the homes and many people in education and the arts visited and learned from the children ...
